
What does it mean to do business in our country today, what are the difficulties of young entrepreneurs who decide to invest in Italy? Alessandra Vitali has an all-female business, four twin sisters who six years ago decided to create their own all-Italian make-up line. "From competition to bureaucracy, especially in the cosmetics sector is a problem," Vitali explains. But what can policy do? "Bureaucracy is so much and unclear, it burdens our companies compared to the world market. Also, the rules should be the same for everyone: if the market is global, the rules must be the same. Otherwise eisste the problem of unfair competition, and this is something that Europe must deal with." Vitali further explains, "We chose raw material made in Italy so that we could test products and have suppliers under control. This was the only way we could prioritize quality."
